Chuck Shaw, RASenior Project Manager
Born in Oklahoma, Chuck attended college at Oklahoma State University where he received both his Bachelors and Masters in Architecture. After graduating, he moved to Pittsburgh to start his professional career at Astorino.
With over 20 years of professional practice prior to joining DLA+ in 2011, he has worked on and managed a range of building types with particular focus on sports and higher education projects including CONSOL Energy Center (now PPG Paints Arena), Tippin Gymnasium at Clarion University, Petersen Sports Complex at the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC Sports Performance Complex for University of Pittsburgh, PNC Park for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Medlar Field at Lubrano Park at Penn State and renovations for the Pittsburgh Steelers at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
As a Senior Project Manager in the firm, Chuck effectively manages each of his projects in a very time and budget-conscious manner. He brings his extensive knowledge of the regional building industry and his expert management skills to current projects in the Commercial, Healthcare, Sports and Higher Education in our studio.
Outside of the office, Chuck enjoys biking, travel and spending time with his family.
