Kari Miller, MBAMarketing Manager
Kari joined the DLA+ team in September of 2013 to lead the firm’s marketing efforts. She has 16 years of experience, nearly 10 years in the AEC industry. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University and Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
Her passion for architecture and design began at a young age. After a few years of gaining design knowledge, she ultimately chose to purse a marketing degree. It was an easy decision to accept a position with a home builder and begin building a career in the AEC industry.
Whether strategy and planning, branding, or channel marketing and social platforms, Kari has an extensive business development, sales and marketing background. She launched the DLA+ blog, enewsletter, and Twitter, and was project manager for the overhaul of the website and implementation of a new CRM. Additionally, her role includes business development, conference and event planning, proposal oversight, and CRM management. Kari is responsible for the marketing direction of the firm and works closely with principals and staff to seek new project opportunities for DLA+.
She participates in several organizations, including SMPS, and boards. Kari serves on the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Pittsburgh’s Race to Any Place Race and Friday Night committees and as the Vendor Representative to the KAPPA board.
In her free time, Kari stays active taking barre classes and spinning on her Peloton bike, running, and golfing as well as being a loyal Pitt and Penguins fan. She also spends time with family, especially her niece, and travels with friends.
