Mike Bosco, NCARB, CSI, CCSSpecification Writer / Architect
In June of 2016 Mike joined the DLA+ team as a consultant then joined full time in February of 2017 and brings over 40 years of experience. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University.
Early in his career, Mike began to focus on specifications writing which continued throughout his career in various positions at other firms. His experience includes working in both engineering and architectural firms in addition to the client side.
Mike’s knowledge of specifications provides the project construction team with valuable information as to materials, products, and workmanship. Based on the documents he provides, contractors in the field can gain a better understanding of the design intent and level of expected quality. His attention to detail ensures a successful construction experience for our clients in all markets.
He has received six Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Middle Atlantic Region awards and participates in the Pittsburgh Chapter of CSI. Mike also has serves as the Director and Certification Chair for the CSI Pittsburgh Chapter roles he has held since 2001 and 2002 respectively.
When away from the office, Mike enjoys painting and varnishing. He likes to help his sons and close friends on renovations and remodels of rental homes.
