Project Challenges and Outcomes

Challenges

Renovation turned an existing retail space into a revenue generating specialty bar.

Outcomes

The concept for the bar was to give fans a high-end experience while pulling in elements of the arena and keeping with the original building design. The new area’s design was achieved by opening the space into the lower bowl concourse of the arena. The result was a revenue generating space with high gloss finishes, unique use of lighting via team logos that were backlit and lighted shelving for spirits, and glass to create a feeling of transparency, openness and reminisce of the ice playing surface. Additionally, the new specialty bar provided the authority and team with an opportunity to add a sponsor for the bar creating another revenue generation opportunity.
