Western PA Surgery and Hand Center

DLA+ was the Architect of Record for the Western PA Surgery Center’s new 48,000SF facility in Aliquippa PA, providing core and shell design, medical planning, and interior design. The facility provides the region with an outpatient care option outside of the city of Pittsburgh. The two-story Center consists of an Ambulatory Health Clinic on the lower level with operating rooms, procedure rooms, pre/post-op bays, sterilization room, clean storage room, and clinical and administrative areas. The specialized Hand Center is located on the second floor with exam rooms, cast rooms, x-ray room, physical therapy clinic, and staff support areas. This new outpatient center serves Western and Northwestern PA, Eastern Ohio, and parts of West Virginia and provides surrounding residents with care and service options closer to home.
