Project Challenges and Outcomes
Challenges
Designing a cancer hospital is in its own right a challenge. Developing this facility with world renowned technology that didn’t exist in India involved more than just good design. It would involve changing a culture of acceptance of current cancer care and opening to the idea of best practices in care.
Outcomes
CTSI was completed on time and the hospital’s projections are far exceeding the pro forma numbers. This model of bringing cancer treatment and care to India has been extremely successful. Given the overwhelming response, the client is working with DLA+ to determine future hospital opportunities in India to bring much needed cancer care to other areas.
