Jeff Light, AIA
Associate, Project ArchitectTop Projects
Jeff joined DLA+ as a consultant before joining the firm full-time in August 2017. He attended Penn State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
His decision to explore architecture came from stories his grandmother told him about his great grandfather who was a Pittsburgh architect. While at Penn State, he discovered he liked the challenge and that there was always more to learn.
Thirty years later Jeff still finds something new and enjoys the opportunity to interact on things that change people’s environments and lives. His project experience covers all phases of design and construction, including field experience and construction review, in addition to software such as REVIT and BIM. He is ICRA8 trained and a Certified Air Barrier Association of America field auditor. Jeff brings his extensive knowledge to current projects in the Commercial, Hospitality, Healthcare, Sports and Higher Education in our studio.
Outside of the office, Jeff enjoys photography, art, history, skiing and swimming. He is active with both the Western Pennsylvania Building Enclosure Council and the Steel City Revit Users Group.
