FINDING THE FIT
The candidate should be a marketing professional with 2-5 years of experience in the professional services industry (understanding of the AEC industry is a plus). He/She shall have a demonstrated track record of success with a variety of business development and marketing tasks. This position will handle coordination and production of marketing efforts related to business development opportunity identification and pursuit, proposals, qualifications packets, presentations, meetings and conferences, and database management. Additionally, they will be responsible for updates to the internal and external marketing communications including the website, intranet (SharePoint), social media, marketing campaigns (e-newsletters and mailings), and other marketing activities.

The position will report to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
DOING THE JOB
In this position, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in the growth of the firm through various marketing and business development activities:
Business Development
- Coordination of the proposal production process including writing, editing and production of statements of qualifications, proposals, presentations, and other marketing materials or assisting with such efforts. Prepare proposal response forms for opportunity submission (inclusive of deadlines and all pertinent submission information) and proactively monitor
proposal tasks to ensure RFP requirements are met. Responsibilities include updating and drafting new project descriptions, resumes and bios, etc. - Actively research and identify potential opportunities for the firm (RFPs and RFQs).
- Update firmwide CRM Database, with project, proposal information, and vendor/company/client information on an ongoing basis and ensure accuracy of information.
- Assist with database driven reports requested by Marketing and Communications Manager and firm principals.
- Carry out registration, planning, and promotion relative to industry related conferences and events in coordination with the Marketing and Communications Manager, Principals, and Market Sector Leaders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Marketing
- Support the development of identified components for market segment business plans:
a. Conference Material (i.e. emails, signage, backdrops, etc.)
b. Marketing Material (i.e. collateral, proposals, qualification packets, etc.) - Participate in the maintenance and creation of marketing information based on firm’s marketing standards, such as firm marketing collateral materials and qualification packets.
- Collaborate in updating and maintaining the website and social media relative to news, projects, bios, job postings, and other modifications.
- Assist in the internal SharePoint site maintenance and updates in coordination with the Marketing and Communications Manager.
- Assist with registration, planning, and coordination of career fairs with the Marketing and Communications Manager, Human Resources and other Principals.
- Coordination and planning of both internal employee and external client events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 2-5 years of marketing experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (A/E/C) or related professional services industry.
- Membership in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) or other marketing organization is a plus.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat, at minimum).
- Proficiency working with digital marketing platforms including website maintenance, social media, and marketing campaigns and e-newsletters such as Hubspot.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Very high attention to detail.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Database management experience including data entry, database process flows, and report generation is a plus.
