PNC Bank, Two PNC Plaza
PNC Bank tasked DLA+ with the design of 34 floors in Two PNC Tower (Tech Tower) to support the Technology Line of Business. The re-stacking and redesign of the floors occurred in six phases as space became unoccupied after shifting personnel to different floors or a new building.

Project Challenges and Outcomes
Challenges
The renovation needed to create an agile, free address work environment for PNC employees, including spaces for individuals to focus, collaborate, socialize, and learn. The project required us to make use of underutilized space and create an environment that would attract and retain top talent and increase workplace satisfaction and productivity.
Outcomes
The four-year, 544,000 SF project has a state-of-the-art lobby and amenity space, conference center floor, free address and hoteling workstations, innovation floors for prototyping and customer research, collaboration spaces, phone rooms, learning centers, and more. The multi-purpose spaces are consistent with the company’s brand and provide employees with various gathering spaces and amenities to improve their day-to-day work experience.
