The Club at Nevillewood Expansion and Renovations

Project Challenges and Outcomes

Challenges

DLA+ was hired to implement the recommendations of master plan which incorporate recent club trends and provide enhanced amenities to help retain and attract new members. The challenge was to complete these major renovations and additions while adhering to the Club’s strict schedule and budget constraints.

Outcomes

Phase one of the project includes the addition of a Golf Operations Center. The new center will house golf carts, course maintenance vehicles, bag storage, and club offices. Relocating the golf cart storage will improve cart traffic flow and club parking while freeing-up space for a new practice putting green. The exterior of the building matches the existing club’s design aesthetic.

Phase Two of the project includes a new 5,600 SF Wellness Center with fitness equipment areas, an exercise studio for fitness classes, a private massage room, an indoor putting practice area, and a golf simulator. The Wellness Center also includes new locker rooms, pool concessions, and a bar. Additional lower-level renovations include the relocated Pro Shop and a new Mixed Grille Room with an indoor and outdoor bar and patio.
